Have you added the hardware ID of your card to the inf file then tried that? Lo and behold, there were no Win7 drivers to run the card. I tried this on Windows 10 with my Adaptec U2W. I would try going through the install steps again, or as another commenter stated after getting it to work: I will try in Legacy mode to see if that makes any difference.
